Read in the paper that they found a 6,000 year old archaelogical site in southern Norway. It was covered wirh 3ft of sand. Turns out that FUNNELBEAKER culture people lived there.....So who else hung around that neighborhood? I asked myself....And here is what I found" Before 6,000 years ago it was the ERTEOLLE culture 6,000 years ago it was the FUNNELBEAKER culture also know as TRB For the next 2-3,000 years it was the CORDED WARE culture. Next was the BELL BEAKER culture till a couple thousand years ago. Lithuania was first mentioned in a book a 1,000 years ago. Corded Ware culture people spoke a PROTO INDO EUROPEAN language (that's was over 4,000 years ago) Lithuanian language is a INDO EUROPEAN language that has changed little over centuries. So heck, we (lithuanians) have been hanging around the Baltic Sea for a long long time.....WOW!!!

It took a lot of guts...
On February 16, 1918 Lithuania declared to the world it's INDEPENDENCE.
It did not come free, it had to be fought for and blood was spilled. Attacked by Gen. Bermont armies at first, later by Polish armies and eventualy by Russian/German/Russian armies, Lithuanian spirit was not broken, they threw off the yoke of foreign occupation to become free and independant to this day and days to come...
Let freedom ring !!!
